I ran into a 1950s switching system. a "GB-15" from Touch-Plate MFG. Corp. in Long Beach CA. it seems that more than a few people have had their hand in the box and made modifications that only make sense to them. The home owners are wanting things to be as they were the day it was built.I need to find parts and or manuals. I have the schem. off the inside of the door, thats it. Any help out there?
I just went to the touchplate site. They have a wiring diagram for their system. The relay just toggles between off and on every time it sees 24 volts sent by the N.O. momentary switch contacts. Actually a very simple design.
Yes it is, this whole job has been fun as the people are restoring not remodling.
plug for me... have you ever heard of the Angle Power Strip? i am the guy who builds them, i am putting a bunch in their home to match that 50s look. i can customize to any spec
Thankyou. WireMold did come to the KBIS show in Chicago to see us! they have a great product as well and there is room for both of us, we are just a little fish in that ocean but we are a big fish in the kitchen and bath industry.
Take care
