Anytime I turn both the hairfun and the radiator in my room, the circuit breaker trips.

This is a new house and I am thinking that the correct size circuit breaker was not installed.

If I go and get a higher rated circuit breaker, are there any other things I should worry about and consider?

Hopefully you have not yet done anything like that!

Circuit breakers are sized to protect the WIRE. If you increase the rating of the circuit breaker, you may cause a fire. Do NOT do that.

Your hair will definitely have fun when you do this

You can try to balance the load with the load shedding relay but you need an electrician for that.

Make sure of two things:

1. your insurance premium is paid up to date.
2. your insurance company pays out when you burn your own house down.
