New boy here...............I want to make an electric motor rotate in the opposite direction to what it does now. Briefly, the motor is:
Brook Crompton, manufactured 1997, 180w single phase, 240v AC 50Hz 2800 rpm., with other label markings as follows:
W18
Condsr motor
Ref MRL232TAA355/R.
There is a capacitor strapped to the outside casing, with wiring connections inside the casing. The capacitor has value UF4.
I have tried reversing line and neutral on the supply but direction remains the same as before.
Would appreciate any help anyoine an give me on this.
