does anyone know what is the resistance level of human skin? some says it is between 500ohm to 500kohm. i just want to make sure about it. thanx guys

This would be a dangerous experiment.

I once heard a story, may be a myth; a sailor wishing to test the internal resistance of his body with a multimeter, pierced the skin on either finger and the DC current from the 9V batter travelled across his heart and eventually killed him.

He was alone, though. Likely would have survived if he recieved attention straight after the shock.

There is info about resistance of human body.

(Human body resistance values referring to shocks by direct current flowing from hand to hand, developed by IEC [1])

For example at 25 V DC 5 % of population have resistance od 2100 ohms, 50 % 3875 ohms, 95% 7275 ohms
