The new 17th Edition Wiring Regs look pretty straight forward at first glance - a lot of us already use RCDs etc. where 17th Edition states they must be used and so on. But I just found a 17th edition web page at www.schneider-electric.co...ing-regulations that shows there are some pretty complicated parts to it. There's a neat quiz at this site and I only got 70% and have to confess I didn't have a clue to the answers I couldn't get.
Yes there is lot of strange things using RCD and so i think we should use RCD's when we know how they will work, sometimes there are really strange problems......
